Proxima Centauri c

14 Billion light years ago - is this an origin story? 

When the “Big Bang” happened - was this a collision between universes?

4.246 light years in the past lies exoplanetary system Proxima Centauri - 

The Unknown = what would be later referred to as the Big Bang by humans of Earth. 

Fungi spread across this galaxy, depositing itself onto Earth 

As life evolved it would eventually seek its origin- which is where our story begins… 

 

Alpha Centauri is a triple star system, with its two main stars,

Alpha Centauri A and Alpha Centauri B, together comprising a 

binary component.  Alpha Centauri C, or Proxima Centauri,

is a small faint red dwarf (Class M). 

Proxima Centauri is a small, low-mass star located 4.2465 light-years 

(1.3020 pc) away from the Sun in the southern constellation of Centaurus. 

Proxima Centauri has three known exoplanets: 

Proxima Centauri b, Proxima Centauri c, and Proxima Centauri d. 

A candidate super-Earth, Proxima Centauri c, orbits roughly 1.5 AU (220 million km) away every 1,900 d (5.2 yr).
